BIOGRAPHY
Prior to joining GLT Law, Lih Chuan was a senior associate in the corporate & commercial department of a Singapore legal firm, ZICO Insights Law LLC (a member of ZICO Law network) where he assisted on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on matters relating to initial public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, funds and corporate finance.
Lih Chuan’s experience includes assisting with corporate exercises undertaken by public listed companies in Singapore, Malaysia and various cross-border corporate transactions. He was also seconded to Teleport (a subsidiary of AirAsia dealing with logistics) during his tenure in ZICO, which led him to gain first-hand insight and opportunities to solve legal and operational issues on the field.

- Acted for a fund for the subscription of RCN in Thailand with aggregate nominal value of up to Thai Baht 1 billion
- Acted for a fund for the subscription of redeemable convertible preference shares with an aggregate principal amount of up to RM60 million in a Malaysian listed company
- Advised a company listed on the Catalist board, the sponsor-supervised board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) on the acquisition of a commercial property in Malaysia for a consideration of RM63 million
- Advised a company listed on the Catalist board on the trading resumption proposal and a financing of SGD33 million
- Advised a private limited company on the launching of tokens on several cryptocurrency trading platforms
- Advised a Malaysia engineering company on the listing on the Catalist board of the SGX-ST
- Advised an engineering services public listed company in Malaysia on the acquisition of 60% of a rail solutions company for a consideration of RM43.5 million
- Advised a company listed on the Catalist board of the SGX-ST on a convertible loan of SGD2.7 million and private placement exercise
- Advised a Singapore private company on a loan of SGD13.08 million
- Conducted compliance review and preparation of compliance calendar for a leading international energy and infrastructure conglomerate for its entity in Singapore
